Classics FC Competitive Program
The Classics FC Competitive Program is designed to offer players/coaches the opportunity to play soccer at a level above the OYAA recreational program as players move towards the Classics Premier Program.

The CFC Competitive program highlights...

· 1 year commitment – Fall (August, September and October) and Spring (March, April and May) seasons; the expectations is that players will participate on their the team for one calendar year.

· Teams are coached by volunteer parent coaches. The coaches have access to developmental workshops in the Fall, Winter and Spring under the direction of the Classics Premier Coaching Staff and Directors of Coaching.

· Coaches must submit a Team Application; coaches form their own teams – Coaches CAN NOT hold a tryout or any other selection/assessment type process. Teams can be dropped from the program if they hold tryouts for teams joining the CFC competitive program.

·Individual players can register; the individual players will be assigned to a team as space is available. New teams may be formed if there are enough players in an age group/gender and a coach volunteers his/her time.

· Player uniforms are not included in the cost of participation. Each player must purchase 2 jerseys, 2 shorts, 2 socks.  The cost of the 6 items is approximately $130.  Players are given 2 practice t-shirts included with their fee.  Players have the option of purchasing a CFC Warm-up Jacket, pants and bag.

· Winter Indoor Training -- Each team will receive 5 indoor practices at SuperKick between November and March.

· Tournaments:  Teams will attend the league's end-of-season tournament.  Teams may also choose to attend 1 competitive tournament per season. The tournament must be within the state of Ohio. Teams at the competitive program are not permitted to travel outside the state of Ohio.  The extra tournament is paid for by the families on the team.

· Teams will participate in the Ohio Champions League.  The OCL offers coaches the opportunity to self schedule games.
