What should my child wear to training? – Players are expected to wear their CFC training gear (Grey CFC t-shirt, black shorts and black socks). It is recommended that players bring their CFC training top and pants (warm up) incase the building is cool. Players are expected to wear soccer shoes – outdoor cleats or indoor shoes are both permissible. Children should not wear football spikes or basketball shoes. Please allow a few extra minutes to put the soccer shoes on inside the building; this helps prevent snow and salt from entering the playing area and will keep the turf in top condition. What should my child bring to training? – Players must bring their soccer ball and their very own water bottle. The CFC staff wants to help prevent the spread of illness. Children will not be allowed to share water bottles. Goalkeeper Training – begins the week of January 11th Goalkeeper training will take place during a team’s regularly scheduled training time. Players will be pulled out of the team training session to work with the goalkeeper coaches. Who attends? The team’s coach will make final decisions regarding which players attend goalkeeper practice. The club will communicate the goalkeeper training logistics directly with the coaches. SuperKick Liability Release, Rules and Spectator Viewing Areas 1. Liability Release/ Emergency Contact – all families must complete a Liability Release form. (attached) This form must be turned to the SuperKick front desk on your child’s first training day. *note: if your child played in this year’s 4v4 league or participated in a SuperKick program (since August 2009), you have already completed this form. 2.
