Classics Teams Play well in MOSSL and US Club Tournaments

11/2/2006

The U9 and U10 boys & girls teams competed in the end-of-season MOSSL tournament in Pickerington and Newark. The U9 Boys Premier and U10 Boys Elite teams fell to OFC and WASA respectively in the finals; the U10 Girls Premier defeated Worthington United to win the championship match. Congratulations to all the U9 and U10 Boys and girls teams for a great fall season.

The U11 Boys Premier, U12 Boys Premier, U13 Girls Premier and U14 Girls Premier teams each participated in the US Club Ohio Cup II event held at the Value City Furniture soccer fields at Easton. The U13 Girls Premier won their division by besting the Ambassadors (Ohio North) 1-0 in the final. The U11 Boys Premier were victorious in their championship game, beating OFC Valencia 3-2 in Overtime to take the U11 Title. The U12 Boys Premier fell 2-1 in double overtime to OFC Juventus.

Congratulations to all the teams for their hard work and great sportsmanship this weekend.
