Brian Bronowski Resigns as Classics Director of Coaching

3/10/2008

Classics FC and OYAA will miss Coach Brian and are extremely grateful for more than 6 years of leadership. The search for a replacement is underway.

A message from Brian:

Classics Family & Friends,

I have informed the OYAA Board of Directors of my decision to resign as the Director of Coaching for the Classics. I will remain until May 19 at which time my replacement will take over and guide the organization through tryouts and the preparation for the Fall 2008 season.

The decision to make this change did not come easy and was a struggle from the beginning. I have in the past been in this situation and offered various opportunities that would have led to my leaving the organization. Those opportunities never came at a time when I felt comfortable leaving. As I am happy and comfortable with what has been accomplished, what has been built and the future direction of the club, I feel that a change will not hinder the continued growth of Classics FC.

I have accepted the Technical Director position for Classics Hammer SC in Cincinnati. It is with mixed emotions and to be honest some sorrow that I move into this new position. I have enjoyed my time in my current position and it is has been a pleasure watching the growth and development that has taken place over these past 6 years. So much has been accomplished and I am truly grateful to have been a small part of the success that has been achieved during my stay.

The teams and players of this organization will always have a special place with me and I will always wish them continued success in the future. I will also miss the many friends I have made and all the wonderful things related to living in such a great city.

It has been a pleasure getting to know all of you and to have the opportunity to coach your children. It is an experience that I will always cherish and remember.

Yours in Soccer,
Brian Bronowski
